BSc (Hons) Aquaculture
The Institute of Aquaculture at the University of Stirling is the leading international centre in its field, and the largest of its kind in the world.
The BSc (Hons) Aquaculture course enables students to understand the form and function of aquatic systems,while gaining an understanding of the biology, ecology and management of organisms inhabiting these systems. Students will gain detailed knowledge of various aspects of the aquaculture industry including production and hatchery systems; nutrition; animal health and disease; and broodstock management. Practical work ensures students can translate theory into practice.
