This postgraduate course is aimed at people interested in a career within the land-based industries at a professional level. This could include consultants, agronomists, animal nutritionists, farm managers or owners and those working for government departments on technical and regulatory issues.
It is offered by distance learning to make it accessible to those in work or who have family commitments. Students come from a wide range of backgrounds and include farmers, growers, vets and other agricultural and food sector workers who wish to develop their career and businesses in the land-based sector.
