Roseanna Cunningham MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Environment, Climate Change and Land Reform, visited one of our industry champions, Ewan Lambie, to find out more about careers in agriculture.
This followed on from a Parliamentary Reception we helped run last year celebrating Rural Youth, when Roseanna asked us to arrange a visit to her consituent Ewan on the family farm near Auchterarder.
During a guided tour, Ewan explained about the different responsibilities he has on the farm throughout the year, and about his role as a Lantra Scotland industry champion.
Our champions help the next generation of learners, contribute to industry consultations, attend careers events, speak about their careers at conferences and events and act as case studies in our promotional material.
