David Brewster

Brought up on a mixed livestock and arable farm, I studied Agriculture and Business Management at University, then worked on farms for a year close to my parents’ family farm. I then worked as a trainee consultant for the Scottish Agricultural College (SAC).

In 2005, after 15 months of a 3 year training contract, I was offered and accepted promotion to manage my own office in Argyll. After just over two years in Argyll I took a career break to travel the world to study farming systems, including beef, sheep, dairy and arable units. In this period I visited the best farms I could find in Canada, Ireland, New Zealand and Australia.

Once back on Scotland I setup my own Agricultural and Business Consultancy firm called David Brewster in 2010. The business has grown over the years from working from home to an office with a growing team. For the current service list visit www.david-brewster.com for details.
