I have previously worked for Scottish Government as an Agricultural Officer and Project Manager for the Farm Business Diversification Scheme. As an Agricultural Consultant for SAC Consulting I provide advice to livestock farmers throughout Lanarkshire on a wide range of technical, business and financial topics. I have extensive knowledge within the beef and sheep sector combined with comprehensive practical experience from running the family farming business. My specialist areas include New Entrants to agriculture, SRDP and Agri-Environment grant applications, beef and sheep nutrition and rationing, enterprise efficiency, cross compliance and record keeping. Being FACTs accredited I also provide advice on soil nutrition, grassland management and undertake fertiliser recommendations.
