Lorna Galloway

As an Agricultural consultant within SAC Consulting, I undertake all areas of general consultancy such as IACS, grant applications, record keeping and business reviews whilst specialising in forage agronomy and beef and sheep systems.  

One of my recent roles within SAC was establishing a Forage for Profit grazing group with an aim of driving improved profitability through the improved utilisation of grass and forage crops.  My role as lead project manager for this group is to provide the technical backing and support for farmers within the group and challenge them to make improvements to their farming business. 

I am also currently responsible for a South West Arable Benchmarking group through AHDB and involved in the delivery at various FAS events across Scotland. 

I consider myself a skilled communicator with experience in trials, data collection and interpretation and a track record in effective event organisation and networking. 

Whilst not on SAC time I also farm an Upland Beef and Sheep farm and travel to New Zealand annually visiting farms and industry partners.
