We’ve lots of exciting things happening over the four days of the show, including competitions and interactive demonstrations from our partners, so drop in see us on Stand 176, 7th avenue, next the main ring.

Thursday 20 June 10am–2pm: Find out about foundation apprenticeships from the Food and Drink Federation. Learn about the new SCQF level 8 technical apprenticeship in rural land use and management from Inverness College UHI. Discover digital skills needed in the countryside with Borders College. And get careers information, delicious tastings and the chance to win a prize from The Scottish Salmon Company.

Friday 21 June 10–11am: Invitation only launch of Employers’ Toolkit for apprenticeships and work placements with Minister for Business, Fair Work and Skills, Jamie Hepburn MSP. 11am–noon: Meet Lantra Scotland’s Director, Liz Barron-Majerik. 1.30–2pm: Catch up with Lantra’s Industry Champions and find out what it’s really like to work in the land-based, aquaculture and environmental conservation sector.

Saturday 22 June 11am–2pm: Talk to trees and timber apprentices from Falkland Stewardship Trust and find out about earning and learning in the workplace.

Sunday 23 June Throughout the day: Join us for the world premiere of short films starring farmer and stand-up comedian, Jim Smith, in our cinema day.
