Scott did an SVQ Level 2 in Environmental Conservation through SRUC, while working for Stirling Council Fisheries as an apprentice. He is Lantra Scotland’s learner of the year for fisheries management.
"I am very passionate about salmon conservation and being able to work within an industry where I can help protect stocks is fantastic. I really enjoy putting across the message about conservation and the journey that salmon have to take just to be in the rivers we have.
My job has been very varied so far and this is what makes it so interesting.
