Access to Land-based Industries - Part 1

During Part 1, this access level programme introduces the learner to a range of skills used in land-based employment. 

The course covers elements of Horticulture, Landscaping, Agriculture and Estates work and includes employability skills with the aim of preparing the student to choose a more specialist field and for employment. The course is extremely practical and hands-on and may include visits to local employers. 

The aim of this programme is to allow progression to a chosen area of specialism in Access to Land-based Industries – Part 2.
