🐟 Announcing the winners of the Aquaculture in Scotland Challenge 🐟

Secondary pupils were to answer the question: what does aquaculture mean to Scotland?

🥇 In first place, Chloe’s entry from Buchanan High School, Coatbridge. Chloe had compiled a fantastic project related to her Young STEM Leader role, working with younger classes on the Clyde River Foundation’s Clyde in the Classroom project, and included an interview with the Head of Operations at Scottish Sea Farms! As well as Chloe receiving her individual prize of £50 Amazon gift card, Buchanan High School have also won a prize of £250 worth of STEM or educational kits for the school.

Three other entries were selected by the judges – while some of the research was not applicable to Scotland, their work to produce a video, art resource, booklet and presentation should be commended. Well done to these winners from Oban High School, Oban and St Roch’s Secondary, Glasgow.
