Connor is doing an NC in Game and Wildlife Management with North Highland College UHI, while working at Ardverikie Estate.
I’m lucky to be on an extremely well-run estate with lots of very experienced people who are hard-working and great fun.
Seeing the smiles on our guests’ faces at the end of a day’s stalking, knowing that I’ve contributed to that, is really enjoyable.
While it is hard physically and mentally, and is certainly not a 9-5 job, the rewards are outstanding and every day is different.
There are so many things that I get satisfaction from in my job and I feel lucky that my work is my passion.
