Cara Campbell

My current job role is an agricultural consultant with SAC Consulting in Campbeltown. My role and responsibilities include providing advice on business management, livestock nutrition including ration formulations for clients. During the IACS submission window, I am involved in assisting clients complete and submit their SAF forms. As part of my role, I write articles for both national and in-house farming publications on a variety of dairy based topics including behaviour at grass, calving heifers at 24 months and getting ready for winter. I am currently involved in several projects including improving efficiencies in dairy herds and marketing of local produce. Similarly, I am the facilitator of a RISS project which is investigating if a local abattoir on mainland Argyll is viable for local farmers.
