Fiona Thomson (Associate)

I am a trainee Agricultural Consultant for SAC Consulting.

In my role, I have been learning how to carry out a carbon audit, shadowing other consultants out on farms and writing the reports. I have been involved in crop walking and sampling a variety of crops. I have been involved with QMS costings. I have been involved in the AngusSmart Farms trails, sampling and recording data from the fields and liaising with ADAS and the farmers with the results. 

I am currently learning how to deliver advice to clients on all aspects of farming and business development. My interest are within the livestock sector but I am interested to further my knowledge on the arable sector.
