Laura Henderson

As an Agricultural Consultant for SAC Consulting based in the Elgin office, I provide one-to-one advisory to livestock and arable farmers throughout Morayshire and Aberdeenshire on a wide range of technical, business, and financial topics.

In my role I complete NVZ plans and records, soil and silage sampling, carbon audits, ILMPs/business planning, grant and subsidy applications (BPS, LFASS, SSBSS & AECS) and advise on cross compliance, livestock production and record keeping. My main interests lie in sustainable beef and sheep production and livestock health and welfare.

In addition, I have experience of facilitating several farmer groups including the AHDB/QMS Morayshire Monitor Farm business group, FAS Morayshire Women in Agriculture group, FAS Morayshire New Entrants group and a RISS group investigating OPA control in hill flocks.
