Rachel Houstoun

I joined Allathan Associates in 2017 as a trainee and have been fortunate enough to get a mixed and varied workload from the partners. Over the last four years I have gained a wider knowledge of government scheme applications including Agri-environment schemes, ILMP and Carbon Audit work.

My general workload and client bases revolves mainly around the annual SAF submissions, NVZ records and general farm mapping and grazing agreements. As well as assisting the partners with Contract Farming Agreements, Estate and Farm Management and any other work that may arise

Before joining Allathan Associates I worked a short spell with the Scottish Government Rural Payment and Inspections Directorate in the Outer Hebrides. The gave me a great insight and basis of knowledge of the farming business within the more remote areas of Scotland.
