I am a Senior Consultant with 36 years o fexperience in all aspects of advisory work for SAC.

My main strength is having been brought-up on a farm and having worked in farm management for Buccleuch Estates, I have a practical farmer's approach to forward budgets and cash flow preparation.

I have key expertise in strategic planning, business plans, benchmarking and tenancy applications, and specialise in Single Farm Payments, IACS, LFASS appeals etc.

As well as a wide-ranging technical knowledge of key farming enterprises, I am recognised as Lead Adviser on Drainage.Soil Nutrient Budgeting and Slurry Storage with special focus on Reducing Carbon Footprints.
