HND Garden Design

This course builds on the knowledge and skills of the HNC and also covers landscape design history and landscape management and maintenance.

You will get a detailed knowledge of plants and their uses, together with the practical skills required for the care and maintenance of plants. Learners also develop an appreciation of design at a garden scale and gain landscaping skills and knowledge.

After completing this qualification, you will be able to take greater responsibility for supervising others and to manage work and resources. You will be able to work independently, or with colleagues, and will develop your abilities to solve problems, and to undertake analysis, synthesis and evaluation.
