This course helps you to gain a sound practical base of knowledge in horticulture and an understanding of the theory behind it.
You will be well equipped to enter the profession and should be able to take up a management level position after gaining some experience.
The course offers some a choice of modules: Gardens and Greenspace elective modules provide the competencies to work in the parks, gardens and landscape sector at a professional level; Production Horticulture modules prepares for employment in fruit or vegetable production, greenhouse protected edible crop production, or ornamental plant production.
