Modern Apprenticeship in Aquaculture SCQF Level 5

This programme allows new or less experienced staff to gain a qualification in fish or shellfish production while working in the aquaculture industry.

It covers a wide range of topics such as preparing and gathering live fish/shellfish, monitoring the aquatic environment for production of farmed fish/shellfish and monitoring fish or shellfish health and welfare, and will normally take about a year of study and on-site training to complete.

You will receive a Modern Apprenticeship at SCQF Level 5 and an SQA Scottish Vocational Qualification at SCQF Level 5 (equivalent to a National 5), plus short course certificates.
