Modern Apprenticeship in Land-based Engineering SCQF Level 5

This programme provides new or less experienced staff with a qualification in the land-based engineering industry and normally takes about two years of study and on-site training to complete. It covers practical aspects such as servicing and repair of engines on land-based equipment, servicing and repair of hydraulic systems and components and inspection and testing of land-based equipment.

There are three options: 

• Land-based Engineering (Agriculture)
• Land-based Engineering (Arboriculture/Forestry)
• Land-based Engineering (Ground Care)

You will get a Modern Apprenticeship at SCQF Level 5 and an SQA Scottish Vocational Qualification at SCQF Level 5 (equivalent to a National 5), plus short course certificates, including an Emergency First Aid qualification.
