NPA Rural Skills SCQF Level 5

Developed as a progression route from Skills for Work: Rural Skills SCQF Level 4, this qualification allows learners to explore a particular vocational area in the land-based sector. It is available through schools and colleges, and has been developed for people of school age through to adults thinking of changing careers.

Routes available are: Agriculture, Animal Care, Equine Studies, Estate Skills, Fisheries Management, Forestry, Gamekeeping and Horticulture. Whichever route is chosen, you can also learn about rural business, how they are run, how they fit in with the local community and how they could diversify into other areas.
