Designed for those who want a career in gamekeeping, this course combines college-based theory with field work experience.
Practical content includes health and safety, predator and pest control, deer biology, introduction to grouse management, game bird rearing, quarry species, game meat hygiene and an introduction to public relations. The colleges also include the chance to take industry awards, such as the Deer Management Certificate Level 1.
