This work-based SVQ qualification will give you the basic skills of a craftsman forestry worker. You will put together evidence of your work in a portfolio, with assessment taking place at the campus or at your work. You will learn about chainsaw maintenance and operations, use of chippers, tree identification, health and safety and team working.
