Modern Apprenticeship in Agriculture SCQF Level 5

This programme aims to provide new or less experienced staff with a qualification in the agriculture industry and normally takes a year of study and on-site training to complete. It covers areas such as monitoring and maintaining health, safety and security; developing an awareness of environmental good practice; and how to manage and improve your own performance in a business environment.  Other units available are in livestock (such as dairy cows, cattle for beef, sheep for wool and land, pigs and poultry), crops or mixed farming as well as operating agricultural equipment such as tractors.

You will receive a Modern Apprenticeship at SCQF Level 5 and an SQA Scottish Vocational Qualification at SCQF Level 5 (equivalent to a National 5), plus short course certificates including an Emergency First Aid qualification (one day course).
